About Lucy
When we first heard about Lucy she was labelled a “dangerous dog” who bites and needed urgent rehoming. But when we met her, all we saw was a young girl carrying trauma and an injured eye — a dog who simply needed patience, understanding, and a real chance.
Today Lucy is thriving at our temporary Paws Of Freedom shelter. At just around 1 year old she is full of life, loves to play, and genuinely enjoys the company of other dogs.
Like many dogs with an uncertain past, Lucy still has some resource guarding around food and toys. The wonderful news is that she is already responding incredibly well to training and continues to make beautiful progress every single day.
Lucy is looking for a patient, committed family who understands that trust takes time and who is happy to continue her training with our ongoing support. She is an amazing little girl and she is absolutely worth every bit of that time.
